I'm Tala Zein, and I wear two incredibly fulfilling hats: a devoted mom and an enthusiastic Cybersecurity expert. My venture into the cybersecurity world started in 2016, shortly after I completed my Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, focusing on Information Technology Management, from the Lebanese American University. Since then, I've been committed to elevating the standards of online safety.
I also completed my advanced degree in Cybersecurity from the Lebanese American University in 2023. While I found myself drawn to cybersecurity during my early academic years, the options were limited at the time. Nonetheless, I never let that stop me. I expanded my expertise by working at reputable companies .
In 2022, another adventure unfolded in my life: the beautiful journey of motherhood. This transformative experience emphasized the urgent need for reliable online safety information, particularly in our social media-driven world.
To address this gap, I've created this platform as a haven for sharing valuable insights and best practices to guide you through the complexities of the digital realm.
Feel free to explore, learn, and secure your online world with me.
In this age and time, we are all extensively connected to the internet, and the associated risks are particularly increasing, especially for children and the younger generation who are exposed from a very early age. And since we cannot refrain from exposing kids to the internet given its integral role in contemporary life, it is crucial for us, as responsible adults, to take on the responsibility of educating the children on staying cautious and understanding the potential risks in this digital age. In the workshops I give I offer the parents and the children/ teens the most important information they need to know in a simplified manner as they are non cybersecurity professionals
